| With this message, I want to request the Government, in the public interest, to make wearing of helmet compulsory, to reduce accidents involving two-wheelers. Recalling the anguished cry of the father of a victim whose son died in a two-wheeler accident, “he urged the Government that there ought to be a law that parents must die first” when he was lighting funeral pyre of his son. With a compulsory helmet rule there would be fewer such cries. |
